Kobe Bryant in a Barcelona Jersey…

Published by DSAdmin on February 4, 2009

Kobe Bryant made the cover of ESPN’s magazine, and this time instead of donning the purple and gold of the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers he’s in a FC Barcelona uniform.  Kobe has always spoken about his youth in Italy and he was an AC Milan fan when he was living there.  He claims (wikipedia) that if he had stayed in Italy longer he’d have tried to become a professional footballer (with his athleticism and tenacity who knows how good he’d have been).

The only downside is that this is probably the only way soccer could get on the cover of ESPN’s magazine …

Kobe actually looked like he might be able to play (but not for Barcelona :) ) maybe for an MLS Team (I think the Galaxy is missing a player)
