Drogba just wants to score goals…leave the big cry baby, oh and he made Time’s Top 100 Most influential people in the world list… so he’s doing something right!
was a pretty boring transfer window. Like you say it makes little sense to bring in a key player mid way thru a season and just hope he fits in to your plans. Is it just me or is it surprising that Robbie Keane was transferred out of the EPL?
What McCarthy did is shambolic, and a slap in the face to Wolves’ fans and the league in general, but like you say if they win this weekend at Burnley and stay up in the premier league he looks like a genius.
Owen scoring 3 was a shocker. Chelsea have to be concerned about their lackluster defending. Inter and Barcelona play today, good day for Champs League
I think its still too early to pick the EPL winner, Chelsea look good for it, but lets see how the loss of Drogba, Essien and Mikel affects them in January.
Was a great weekend for football. Watched the Arsenal/Chelsea game live, and Chelsea looked a more decisive team in attack and were defensively strong. For all their pretty passing Arsenal lacked bite infront of goal. Drogba’s goal was great. How about el clasico no comments on that?
Wigan gave up in the 2nd half, it was embarrassing, Tottenham should have maybe eased up after being up 5 or 6 . I’m just upset I didn’t have defoe in my fantasy squad.

January transfer window ends with a whimper
February 3rd, 2010 at 1:26 pmwas a pretty boring transfer window. Like you say it makes little sense to bring in a key player mid way thru a season and just hope he fits in to your plans. Is it just me or is it surprising that Robbie Keane was transferred out of the EPL?

January 11th, 2010 at 11:01 pmThe Vieira buy sounds like a disaster in the making unless he regains his form from over 10 years ago.
